Washington State
2009 WAVE Scholarship Award
The Washington Award for Vocational Excellence (WAVE) scholarship application period is now open and career and technical education students from around the state are encouraged to apply. This annual award administered by the Workforce Board pays up to two years tuition based on state university tuition rates. Two high school students and one community college student from each of the state's 49 legislative districts are eligible to win the award, for a total of 147 potential winners. Washington State Tech Prep Association
Our state Tech Prep Directors sponsor a silent auction every spring to raise funds so that they can offer tech prep students scholarships. More information about this year’s awards will be available in early 2009: http://www.techprepwa.org/
